Meaning & Importance of Ganga Aarti

Ganga Aarti means prayer for River Ganga. Prayers are dedicated to Gods and Goddesses. River Ganga is not just a river in India, It is Divine Mother. River Ganga gives life in the form of water. The Ganges is not just a river but is revered as a purifier of sins, a life-giver, and a source of spiritual nourishment. The same water (Jal) in respect of mother Ganga we say Ganga jal in Hindi) also removes sins when you take a dip in holy water. River Ganga also gives liberation to souls. Minor differences of +15 mins or -15 mins can happen.
